70-Tonne mining tipper trailer
Engineered to handle the most extreme duties of a steel mill, this 70-tonne capacity tipping mining trailer was custom-designed to ensure absolute reliability in some of the harshest conditions imaginable. Utilising specialist grade wear-resistant steel, it also featured one of the heaviest duty suspensions available and solid tyres for puncture resistance. When down-time is out of the question, a special purpose machine design such as this is essential.
Truck-mounted industrial vacuum recovery unit
Designed to accommodate the many arduous tasks of an aluminium smelter plant, this machine incorporated a material recovery tank capable of withstanding full vacuum, dual filtration systems, a vacuum-production power plant, and facility to discharge the tank contents via tipping - all within legal vehicle loading & dimensional restrictions. Designed from the ground up, this machine became an essential piece of equipment for in-plant clean up operations.
Cement spreader trailer
This cement spreader trailer was designed for the road construction industry. Featuring a substantial storage bin for the transport of cement powder, the unit incorporated a hydraulically driven rotary distributor to evenly spread cement during road-making operations. This product was fully drawn using 3-dimensional solid modelling software to ensure absolute accuracy. Featuring a rugged design basis, this machine was destined for use in Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. where reliability is essential.
Bitumen sprayer
Webdraft has experience engineering various types of vehicles for the bitumen industry, including bitumen sprayers, bitumen tankers/bulkers & bitumen kettles. This bitumen sprayer was designed for maximum versatility, capable of spraying long highway runs, or small car parks. It featured a twin burner system for heating duties, a hydraulically-driven bitumen pump for spraying & loading operations, a raise/lower/folding spraybar and numerous operator-specified customised options. Designed in conjunction with the Dangerous Goods code AS2809, this unit combined efficiency, safety & user-friendliness in one compact package.
Heavy haulage low-loader semi trailer
This unique low-loader semi trailer was designed for the cartage of precast concrete panels to building sites. Having to travel off-road, often over undulating ground, it had to be engineered not only to be extra heavy duty, but to accommodate maximum articulation between the prime mover and the trailer, resulting in an innovative gooseneck design.
Air Brake Testing - Trucks & Trailers
In conjunction with heavy vehicle modification certifications, Webdraft Design Engineering has invested in the latest German technology in brake testing. Utilising a completely wireless system, the MAHA Truck Hand Terminal tests and records air brake response times. Whether you are modifying a vehicle wheelbase, installing trailer brake connections, or require brake testing for your existing vehicle, Webdraft Design Engineering can even offer on-site testing and certification.
